Massage therapy can break the pain cycle by relaxing the muscles and improving the flow of energy, blood and lymphatic fluid. Find a therapist that is familiar with the needs of fibromyalgia sufferer.

Movement / exercise should be gentle and flowing. Yoga, tai chi, water aerobics are good choices. Start slow but do it on a regular basis.

Relaxation techniques, meditation, and hypnosis, focus and quiet the mind. Staying centered helps with pain control, anxiety and depression.

Nutrition; zinc, selenium, B complex, magnesium, calcium, vitamin E, omega 3, have been shown to be beneficial. Coffee, alcohol, and nightshade vegetables have shown to be inflammatory.
