Therapy (or RT) uses high-quality essential oils applied along the
spine and other parts of the body to bring about healing and balance
affecting body, mind and spirit. Essential oils are anti-bacterial,
anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory. Its roots in Native
American medicine, RT combines aromatherapy with massage and
acupressure. It is a powerful, non-invasive tool for aiding the body to
come into structural and electrical alignment. The essential oils are
dispersed like drops of rain and lightly massaged into the skin. The
essential oils penetrate quickly and after the session, will continue
their healing work for up to one week. RT can be helpful for a number
of health issues such as:
- Back pain
- Digestive complaints
- Liver insufficiencies
oils are applied along the spine reflexes of both feet and along the
spine of the back. RT theory states that pathogens (fungus, bacteria,
viruses, etc.) the immune system overcomes but can't kick completely
out of the body travel to lay dormant along the spinal cord. There they
remain; receiving nutrients until they are strong enough to either
overwhelm the immune system or the immune system itself becomes
compromised (usually by too much stress).
After the RT session, clients may
wish to rest or sleep. This is a normal relaxation response in which
the parasympathetic system is activated to begin the healing process.
The client also may take a hot shower or bath—this will aid in driving
the oils deeper into the tissues of the body. Depending upon the health
of the client, the aromatics may kick-start a healing crisis within the
body; the client may experience flu-like symptoms for a few days as the
essential oils and the immune system work to remove any pathogens
lingering within the body. It is encouraged that clients receiving RT
drink plenty of pure water and other fluids for the next several days
following the session.
essential oils used are a pure, therapeutic grade and many can be taken
internally. Health Concepts, LLC, purchases their RT oils from Young
Living. Essential oils are derived from plants and are easily broken
down, used and disposed of by the body. They do not remain in the body.
